*To provide a measurable increase in the knowledge of the American culture and system by enrolling refugee students in summer programs to prepare them for college and facilitate college enrollment process.

*To enroll refugee students with low levels if English in ESL programs while helping them transition into the American society.

*To make sure qualified refugee students are signed up for basic needs such as health insurance, food stamps and tax preparation.

*To offer counseling to refugees who have experienced traumatic events in their lives.

*To provide grants and scholarships to refugees who need help paying for school books, computers, classes and other educational needs.

*To give refugee students an atmosphere that fosters a “can do” attitude.
